For this media diet, I have decided to delete all social media apps on my cellphone. This will include: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tumblr for a full 3 days. I constantly have my phone with me, and I rarely go five or ten minutes without checking some type of social media on my phone. I hardly ever go on social media on my laptop. I know that I spend too much time on my phone and the main reasoning is due to these social media apps. I feel that it will definitely be difficult for me to not be able to use these apps, however, I also feel that it is a habit that needs to be tamed. I want to be able to do more productive tasks with my time rather than checking the latest snapchat story or Instagram post. I also hope to get a better idea of how often I actually do use social media via my cellphone.
